Have you ever sold at a consignment sale? Up until now I have only shopped at sales, but never sold. I LOVE going to a good consignment sale, great selection, great prices, and indoors! When Brad and I talked about having a 3rd child we decided we are ok for now with just the two great kids we have and will revisit the topic in the future! In order to not become a hoarder of baby items I decided this time I would put stuff in the sale, then of course I will get to shop again for the 3rd baby :) I found a local sale that gives you 70% of your sales with the other 30% going to the church, which then becomes a donation for you! They also offer the option to shop early if you volunteer to work the sale!
I started out with just one seller number, which gave me 100 items in the sale. I quickly realized I need more! In the end I had 3 seller numbers! Everything from clothing, travel system, pack n play and cloth diapers went off to the sale. I still have a few bins full of clothing that will go in the fall sale! It feels good to get the stuff out of the house and make room, but on the other hand it was sad to send off all those little bitty clothes I loved!
The sale started last night, I will go in tonight to work the sale, I hope to see lots of my things sold already!
I went in on Wednesday night to shop and got a ton of great deals! For $88 I got 33 outfits (shirts/shorts, dress), swim trunks with matching rash guard, shoes for each kid, a ballet outfit, ballet shoes, new in the box bath toy, and books! Now Dalton is pretty much set for summer, Makenzie will still need a few things but we are off to a good start!
How do you like to shop for your kids clothing?

Welcome
Welcome to Little Miss Frog Legs! I hope you enjoy reading everything that gets posted! There
is not a set “topic” that will be covered, just life as it comes, which makes
the best blogs!
Now for a little background on whom I am, not to get into
too many specifics since I will save those for a later date! My name is Shannon Wagner, I am 28
years old and I am a work at home mom!
I have been married for 3 years (on Oct 3rd) to my husband
Bradley. Together we have 2 children, Makenzie who is 2 and Dalton who is 2
months. We also have 2 fur children, a grey domestic cat named Meriwether and a
4-year-old Boxer named Roxy.
The name of the blog comes from our nickname for Makenzie.
When she was born Bradley started to call her Frog Legs since she would “frog
leg” when he was trying to change her diaper, it quickly stuck and she will
answer to Frog Legs more often than her actual name :) We don’t yet have a set nick
name for Dalton yet, so far we call him “little D” “little dude” and “cupcake”
and Makenzie will call him “baby d”.
I work from home as a Social Media Marketing Manager for PBM
Products / Perrigo Company. I
greatly enjoy my job and am thankful for the flexibility it gives me to work
from anywhere and to stay at home with my children. PBM Products makes store brand infant formula and toddler
foods, and Perrigo makes store brand over the counter pharmaceuticals. I love
having a job in a field that encompasses my life revolving around children, I
am able to do something I love, about something I would be knowledgeable about
anyway and get paid for it!
I also have 2 Etsy.com stores; I was started when I was
making DIY projects for my wedding. That store sells custom painted parasols
and custom rhinestone iron-ons and hoodies. The other store is all things baby and mommy, which of
course started when people were asking me to make things for them that I had
made for my children. I enjoy
crafting and will have plenty of blogs with craft ideas!
I hope you enjoy sharing this journey with me! For now I must go as Dalton has decided
he no longer wishes to have tummy time :)

Match.com
I must admit that I used to be one of those people that always thought that only the ugly desperate people used online dating… that was until this past summer. In the beginning of 2009 I had a not so fun breakup with the guy I was seeing and needed to get back out on the dating scene. I went out on a few blind dates… all were horrible, or later turned out to be!
After a few months of this a friend of mine suggested I go online and try Match.com, I laughed at her and decided I would continue to try my way. Which was going to Sidelines Friday and Saturday night, and sometimes Sunday, in hopes of finding Mr. Right (what was I thinking?) After about a month of this I was beginning to re-evaluate my strategy, nothing I tried was working. Then I saw on TV where Match.com was having one of their free communication weekends and thought “oh hell why not, it can’t be any worse than I am already doing” After that weekend I decided to go ahead and sign up for a 3 month membership…
I spent several hours setting up my profile, several more hours looking at my matches. I winked at a few guys that I thought were interesting. A few days later I was looking at my matches when I came across this one guy that I found interesting so once again I winked at him. We had several conversations online then decided to meet. As soon as I saw him I thought “OMG I think he is the one” we had a nice dinner at Red Lobster followed by a few movies. We have been inseparable ever since!
So the answer to my question is YES you can find Mr. Right online, I did!
